Shetland Division -North City Spring 2017 Registration for (Ages 5-6) -Player's age on April 30th 2017

Shetland division is typically for 5-6 year olds. NCYB allows 4 year old players to participate in the Shetland division, however, it is required that a parent of a 4 year old player volunteer to coach and/or be on the field at practices and games. It is not a requirement to be a team manager.
The Shetland division gives the player their first introduction to baseball techniques and rules. The ball used is a training/tee ball which has some give and compression. The players begin the season hitting from a tee. The second half of the season the play changes to a manual pitching machine. The machine is adjustable to a speed that is optimal for this age group as well as provides the ball location consistency needed for young players to acclimate to a pitched ball.
Pinto Division -North City Spring 2017 Registration for (Ages 7-8) -Player's age on April 30th 2017

The Pinto division is where proper baseball skills start to develop with some consistency. The ball used is a true baseball (not a training or tee-ball). Pitching is done by a pitching machine (38 Ft.) which provides consistency for developing hitters. Base paths are set at 60 Ft. There is no stealing or lead offs in this division.
Mustang Division -North City Spring 2017 Registration for (Ages 9-10) -Player's age on April 30th 2017

Mustang division is where the players begin full baseball rules baseball. This includes player pitching, lead off bases and steals. This division is where players begin to hone their skills that were begun in the previous divisions.
Bronco Division - North City Spring 2017 Registration for(Ages 11-12) -Player's age on April 30th 2017

The Bronco division is a highly competitive division that allows players to take their game to the next level. The players have developed consistency with their skill set and strengthened their knowledge of the game for situations and strategy.
Pony Division -North City Spring 2017 Registration for (Ages 13-14) Player's age on April 30th 2017

Pony division is the final step in the North City baseball program. This division is prime for players to experience a high level of baseball competition in preparation for High School baseball or other travel ball team experiences.
